I am a Mentor for GREEN LIGHT, a transport hackathon sponsored by the New Zealand Transport Agency in collaboration with Auckland Transport. The event is taking place 15-17 November 2019 in central Auckland.
Disruptions to buses, trains and ferries still catch us by surprise, and can leave us stranded, frustrated, and disconnected. Whether it’s a sporting event, a weather bomb, or a crash on the network, we still need to get where we want to go. How might we reimagine the public transport experience in the face of planned and unplanned disruptions?
Hosted by the NZ Transport Agency and Auckland Transport, Green Light Hackathon 2019 is a collaborative event bringing New Zealanders together to solve problems. Over 48 hours, 120 problem solvers, creatives, developers, analysts, behavioural experts, designers and people who want to make a difference will come together to generate new ways to improve the public transport experience.
With your hands on the latest technology, insights and data from Auckland Transport, NZ Transport Agency and our partners, you’re invited to connect, collaborate, create, prototype, and test your way to new technology solutions.
