Read my interview with Der Piegel during my week in Lisbon, Portugal aboard the MV Oceanic II
Through an Institute for International Education grant of $10,000 and the support of The Scholar Ship Office of the President, I have been able to attend this multi-country study abroad program that took me to Greece, Portugal, Panama, Ecuador, French Polynesia, New Zealand, Australia and China.
My primary task was to evaluate, budget and design the pilot courses that could be used for integrating and rolling out iTunesU for a 15,000+ campus at Western Illinois University.
I developed IEEC benchmarking tests for the new generation of medical detectors that began to be sold in 2008 in the Symbia, e.Cam and c.Cam product lines.
Led USD$3M monthly purchasing budget for lighting product line.
My seven years at Western during my Bachelor and Master’s I heavily invested in my passion: interconnecting people. I focused in international work and we did wonderful things.
I graduated with honors from the Office of the President with a triple minor in Manufacturing Engineering Technology (Mechanical Design), Mathematics and German.
Through the DAAD, I attended “High Tech In Old Munich”: A language, culture and science summer program that included visits to companies in Munich and the surrounding area.
t CAIT I gained expertise and insight in the development of tailored and interactive e-learning solutions from being a Database Developer, a Content Editor to a High School Spanish Teaching Assistant via DirecTV.
